Bridge Department
The Osage County Bridge Department is responsible for bridge replacement and maintenance on all county bridges. County bridges are replaced according to a five-year plan developed when the Bridge Sales Tax was approved in April 2004. Each year since then our department has worked in different areas of the county.
Bridge replacements scheduled for 2016 by Osage County crews are:
BRO – 076(14), Replacement of Bridge on County Road 232. Federal Contract Bridge. Projected to be done by January 2017.

Road District
The Osage County Road District is made up of five different Road Districts:
Belle City Road District
Chamois Special Road District
Westphalia Road District
Westphalia Special Road District
Linn City Special Road District
Road District’s are responsible for the maintenance of their assigned roads.
Driveway culvert pipes shall be properly sized for the drainage area in question. All driveway culvert pipes shall be a minimum of fifteen (15) inches in diameter with a minimum twenty-four (24) foot length, need to be Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP). Needs to be approved by Road and Bridge Department.
